NexxtDiscovery (“the App”) is operated by Tselani Lang. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when you use the App.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information to provide and improve the App’s functionality:
a. Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
Email address
Authentication credentials (handled securely via Firebase Authentication)
Users may sign in using email/password or Google Sign-In.
b. User-Provided Content
We collect content that you voluntarily provide, including:
Text descriptions and messages
Uploaded images
Uploaded videos
Text content may be processed using third-party AI services to enable app features such as matching and discovery.
c. Automatically Collected Information
We may automatically collect:
Device information (device model, operating system, app version)

This information is used for analytics, stability, and performance improvement.
2. How We Use Information

Create and manage user accounts
Enable profile matching and discovery features
Process uploaded content
Improve app functionality and user experience

3. Third-Party Services
NexxtDiscovery uses the following third-party services:
Google Firebase
Firebase is used for:
Authentication
Cloud Firestore and/or Realtime Database
Cloud Storage (for images and videos)
Cloud Functions
Analytics and performance monitoring
Firebase may collect device and usage data in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.
OpenAI API
User-provided text content may be sent to OpenAI’s servers for processing, including generating vector embeddings used to match profiles with similar escriptions.
OpenAI processes data according to its own privacy and data handling policies. We do not use OpenAI to identify users or sell personal data.
4. Data Storage and Retention
Data is stored securely using cloud infrastructure provided by Firebase.
We retain information only for as long as necessary to:
Provide app functionality
Maintain security and performance
Comply with legal obligations
Data may be deleted upon user request, subject to technical and legal limitations.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data.
Data is shared only with trusted service providers (such as Firebase and OpenAI) strictly for operating and improving the App.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect user information.
However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
7. Children’s Privacy
NexxtDiscovery is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
